Wildfowl Works is all about excellence in bird taxidermy. I strive to bring anatomical accuracy with an artistic flair to every mount to capture the essence of the bird. I have been a taxidermist since 1983 and although I have worked in all facets of taxidermy, ultimately, due to my passion for waterfowl and upland birds, I concentrate only on bird taxidermy.
Having grown up waterfowl hunting on the marshes and bays of Cape Cod and Massachusetts, I have hunted a multitude of species of waterfowl. My days hunting, coupled with spending countless hours observing waterfowl both in the wild as well as in my aviaries has helped me produce the most life like mounts possible. I have also studied with master bird taxidermist and award winning Stephen Savides and am always working on new techniques to improve my work.
Whether it is a hunter’s first duck or a piece that will be part of a collection, every mount is treated as an original. I attempt to bring emotion as well as the elements of composition and design to ensure that every piece brings a lifetime of enjoyment and memories. To that end I will work with each client individually to be sure we create a finished piece that brings 100% satisfaction.
